Think Good
Dear Parents,
Rosh Hashanah is the start to something NEW! "Think good and it will be good" is a powerful idea for the new year. On Rosh Hashanah we remind Hashem of the wonderful devotion our forefathers have had to Hashem. We don't mention "על חטא" on Rosh Hashanah-we don't concentrate on our flaws or wrong doings. It's a time to create positive self images and a positive collective image as Hashem's nation. When we think of ourselves in those terms we are then, and only then, capable of analyzing where we can improve and change (Yom Kippur).. With this mindset we have the tools to truly be successful. When we see our children through a lens of pure goodness.... highlighting their wonderful traits continuously, we will then have more success when we try to help them become even better.
Wishing each one of you a שׁנה טובה ומתוקה and a כתיבה וחתימה טובה- a year full of all the blessings from א-ת in all of your life with tons and tons of nachas from your gorgeous children. !א גוט געבּענטשׁט יאר

The Takeaway:
The skill of positive intent helps us see the best in each child, even in their worst moments. See their challenging actions as a call for help, and conflicts as an opportunity to teach a new skill.
Think good and it will be good.
Feeding positive energy into something that can actually change it’s outcome. Giving a child a positive narrative to who and what they are and what they did creates their own self image in a positive light.
