Annita Stein Custom Art

In honor of the We Are campaign, we partnered with our very own local Sandy Springs artist, Annita Stein to create a custom We Are print. Known for her landscapes and inspired by over three decades of art experience, Annita recently embraced the ancient technique of linoleum block printmaking.

In her printmaking process, Annita hand-carves her designs onto a linoleum block, which is inked and pressed to transfer vibrant colors onto paper. Using a “reductive” method, Annita layers multiple colors with precision—re-carving the block between each layer—to create unique, multi-dimensional pieces. Each color requires a separate pass through the press, ensuring that no two prints in this series are exactly alike.

Watch Annita’s We Are prints come to life at the celebration, each crafted to embody the timeless values of the Pirkei Avos verse. These beautiful pieces are created with care to be something you’ll be proud to hang in your child’s playroom or bedroom—a meaningful reminder of the strength, purpose, Jewish pride and spirit that they carry inside of them.
